We all have times in our lives when we feel like we’ve lost our way. You may have experienced life-changing events, like a family break-up, losing your job or the death of someone you love. You might not even know why you feel the way you do. At times like these, talking therapy might be the lifeline you need. Being given the opportunity to explore your thoughts and emotions can be your first step towards living a more balanced, satisfying life.
I can help you look at the issues troubling you and make sense of confusing and painful feelings. My personal style is warm, relaxed and non-judgemental. It is my aim to put you at ease and create a safe, confidential space in which you can speak freely and honestly.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I am able to use a number of different methods to work with my clients. I have worked extensively with young people, from 11 to 21 years old, over the last two years. I also have experience working with young people with physical and learning disabilities, as a support worker with Action for Children.

We all need someone to talk to about our thoughts and feelings, without the fear of being judged. I offer a a gentle, caring yet directive multi model approach to help you start to explore what’s going on for you. I will walk alongside you each step of your journey and together we will start to process and understand what’s deep inside to start the process of making you feel better.
I have over 8 years experience as an integrative counsellor. I am registered with the BACP and use a range of skills/models from my training, my psychology degree and my further training to aid my work. My experience has been gained working as a specialist counsellor in a rape crisis centre working with sexual violence and the effects of such. As well as this I have been seeing clients in private practice for several years. All my experience has awarded me the opportunity to counsel a diverse range of clients as young as 11 to 75, from a range of genders and sexuality. I specialise in eating disorders, trauma, dissociation and abuse, but I also have experience of working with a range of other difficulties such as depression and anxiety, phobias, work related problems and abortion (to name but a few).
